Purpose

We exist to support community physicians in their research endeavors. Our services allow physicians to enjoy the benefits of an in-house research program while maintaining focus on patient care. The result is superb research patient protections and quality data output. No other research firm customizes its services to fit the needs of the client. While managing the full spectrum of a research program is our specialty, we offer the same expertise on a project basis. Even well-established programs find themselves in need of support. Leadership

Michelle LoMonaco spent the first 11 years of her research career with the 501 (c)(3) organization Cancer Research Network, Inc. (CRN) led by world-renowned breast cancer expert Dr. Charles Vogel. In the early years she held positions in data management, regulatory affairs, study coordination, and management of operations for the company which was dedicated to breast cancer research. She would later become Director of Operations, a position she held for 5 years. During that time, she helped further build the network by diversifying the company’s lines of business to include other medical and hematologic oncology clinical trials. She was responsible for various executive and clinical responsibilities including contract/budget negotiation with major pharmaceutical companies, grant writing, community cancer program execution, study coordination oversight including regulatory, and procurement of new research opportunities.

From there, she joined Atlantic Clinical Research Collaborative (ACRC), a Palm Beach based dedicated research company, to spearhead their efforts of building clinical research programs in a network of partnering community practices.

Her work in the community, while at CRN, building research infrastructure in oncology practices provided invaluable experience that was able to be applied to the ACRC community network. As Site Network Director for the ACRC divisions; ACRC-Otolaryngology, ACRC-Dermatology, and Orthopedic Research Institute, she was responsible for research staff training, integration of clinical trial programs into private practice, quality assurance, and business development.

She then served as Site Director for the company’s flagship location with a team of 15 supporting internal medicine, rheumatology, endocrinology, and orthopedics research.

Now, having almost two decades of research experience she is Executive Director of O2CR which she founded in 2017. She now has the ability to bring much needed support to clients who are as passionate about the importance of clinical research as she is.

She is a Certified Clinical Research Professional (CCRP) through Society of Clinical Research Associates (SOCRA). Initial certification was obtained in 2005 with re-certification in 2008, 2011, 2014, and 2017.
